I was just having a play around in Ye Olde Photoshoppe 7 and didn't expect I would finish the cover so quickly... But I liked it and I stopped there!

Also, my Thought Bubble exhibitor's pack arrived yesterday! Bring it awn!

The smallest of teasers! Only three weeks until Thought Bubble and I'm still paging up issue 1!

I'm doing my sister's wedding invitations. She wanted a caricature on the front but I'm campaigning to have it on the inside so as not to spoil the pretty front! The roof folds up and the side of the building folds down to reveal the information inside.

I was a bit half-hearted with my pumpkins this year.
The first was an I ♥ West Yorkshire pumpkin:

And this is Lumpy, who was left in the bottom of the box at the supermarket, unloved because of his deformity...

Here's another pumpclip I did for the Anglo-Dutch Brewery, Dewsbury. It didn't turn out half as nice as the one in my head but the client's happy!
Edit: Had to add some flowers, which was a right bloody pain in the arse!


Also, I don't really have the time to do a proper recount of my weekend in Witney, Oxfordshire, with the Cartoonists' Club of Great Britain... But here are some photos:
WITNEY WEEKEND!

This week's caption for the contest over at the Cartoonists' Forum was "Will you please stop playing with it!" I added a capital 'I' and came up with this:

Tomorrow I'm going to Witney, Oxfordshire, to meet up, hang out with and play with members of The Cartoonists' Club of Great Britain. They were kind enough to invite me along as a non-member.
I think it's gonna be a fun weekend, taking in the Wychwood Brewery and generally dossing around, playing instruments, drinking and drawing!
As part of the trip, we were all asked to come up with some ghoul, goblin and witch-based gags. I didn't have much time but I managed to squeeze a couple out:


In other news, leading up to Thought Bubble, Leeds, I've finished the pencils and nearly all of the inks of my new comic, Find Comet, Hit Comet, Watch Comet, Sleep. I'll post some preview pages up when I'm not busy being a cartoonist instead of a comic artist!

This week's caption: "Sorry, no thanks." That left it wide open to interpretation but here's mine:

This week's caption was "Right! Any more of that and you'll be sitting on the naughty step!"
This gag works best if you ignore the prequels. But we should all do that anyway.

Over at The Cartoonists' Forum, they have a caption contest every weekend. This week's caption was 'so who wants to go first?' I finally had some spare time to have a go this week!

I drew this straight into Photoshop so God's a bit shit.

Here's the tiniest snippet of my Observer Comic Competition entry, which I've just finished. Thank god for the extended deadline announced today!

Here's another beer pump clip. I can't decide if I like this or hate it... But at least it's giving me that excited Hallowe'en feeling!
