expect the worst

Here's another pumpclip I did for the Anglo-Dutch Brewery, Dewsbury. It didn't turn out half as nice as the one in my head but the client's happy!
Edit: Had to add some flowers, which was a right bloody pain in the arse!


Also, I don't really have the time to do a proper recount of my weekend in Witney, Oxfordshire, with the Cartoonists' Club of Great Britain... But here are some photos:

Here's another beer pump clip. I can't decide if I like this or hate it... But at least it's giving me that excited Hallowe'en feeling!

Here's my poster for the new Anglo-Dutch micro brewery campaign. Weird, isn't it?
Apparently, there's a Dutch expression for something that tastes nice and it translates as 'it's like angels weeing on my tongue!' Hence this...

Colouring with the Wacom is surprisingly thirsty work!

There'll be preview pages from my new comic soon. I'm all but ready to start drawing the thing!

I'm not sure the brewery will settle on this but as far as I'm concerned: it's done! Nine versions later!

Actually, I did this ages ago but the bottle label it's for is changing, so I'm revisiting it!


I'm still very jealous you're all drawing comics while I'm working on freelance stuff. But I'm getting paid, so I mustn't grumble!
If I get my act together, maybe I can start my new series (Find Comet, Hit Comet, Watch Comet, Sleep) this weekend! Hup-ho!

I don't do many caricatures (I find them a bit of a bore and I usually don't get enough photos to work from which sucks if you've never even met the person!) but I was happy to do this one for a special birthday beer at my local pub!

Saying that, I'm working on a double caricature at the moment! So there'll be more soon!

Here's the latest Anglo-Dutch pump clip I did for a beer called Sweet Jane. I don't know what percent it is, yet...
It has a touch of the Ken Reid about it, although that was an accident.

I'd rather be making my Thought Bubble comics but bills must be paid!
